Collaborating with Studio HER means joining our mission to energize diverse representation in media, expand perspectives ánd choosing the best creators for your project. We believe that change is created together, and everyone can collaborate with HER.
Only 14% of directors and 10% of cinematographers in Europe are women. Less than 20% of funding reaches female-led projects.
That gap isn’t just unfair, it’s a missed opportunity.
The female lens isn’t only for women, it’s the perspective the world has been missing.
WHO WE ARE
We are a team of creative directors, producers, and creators with over a decade of experience in the media industry.
For each project, we build and expand crews from our curated network of female and non-binary audiovisual creatives.
WHY WE DO THIS
Rolmodels and community are important for change and we need diversity in our imaging to evolve. Change is made together, by uniting and collaboration. We work towards equal representation in front of - and behind the scenes, in an industry that is still predominantly male.
And don't we all ideally like to have more balance around us?
HOW WE DO THAT
Standing up as rolmodels in the audiovisual industry, collaborating on projects and empowering eachother and our network - by sharing and exchanging our work, knowledge and skills and create online and offline spaces to come together.
Together with our partners and clients we exchange time, space and - or knowledge by content creation, events, education and our membership perks

FOUNDERS STORY
CELEBRATE AUTHENTICITY
Becoming a mother for the first time in 2014, living in London, shifted my world
in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It was a time of transformation, not just personally, but professionally too. Balancing motherhood and my passion for creativity as
a professional self-directing camera operator, I found myself missing content and
a community that reflected my experiences: raw, and unapologetically ambitious.
That’s when the seeds of Studio HER were planted: a space where authenticity
isn’t just encouraged, it’s the standard. From the start, this was more than
a business; it was about building a community, a network, a movement.
One where we uplift each other and bring stories to life that reflect the world
as we see it - and dream it could be. Making sure we have all types of rollmodels
and expand possibilities within the different theme's of life- that connect us all.
